The First Annual Guns and Hoses Poker Tournament was a huge success!! Fifty-one people came out to play and take their shot at an amazing first place prize donated by 417 Guns.  

A raffle was conducted for the second gun. Ironically, Grant Wistrom was the lucky winner of the custom XD pistol. 

The Wistrom family attempted to make a run at a sweep, but were stopped by Gary Norcross—our first place winner and recipient of an amazing custom built AR-15. 

The event was a huge success and a lot of fun. We are looking forward to next year being even bigger and better. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Wistrom Family Foundation.

10th Annual Foundation Golf Tournament

June 22-23, 2012

HiMark Golf Course  8901 Augusta Drive

Lincoln, Nebraska

Between 250 and 300 golfers join us each year at this event. Foursomes in the tournament are paired with a former Husker–most from the Championship Era of the 90′s–for a fun and memorable day of golf. On Friday evening, we host a pre-tournament party along with silent and live auctions featuring Hawaii vacations and past and present Husker memorabilia. The party will take place in the HiMark Golf Course Banquet Room. The tournament kicks off at 11am on the morning of June 23rd, and includes a box lunch, dinner, golf cart and gift bag. Prizes are given to the top teams in each filght. Skeeter Barnes, Raising Canes, and Carlos O’Kelley’s provide appetizers on the course.
